Fees

Basic Fee

$45 per hour

Discounted Fee

$40 per hour when eight (8) hours of tutoring are prepaid. If tutoring is discontinued before the eight hours are used, the unused portion of the prepayment will be refunded. However, the refund will be based on applying the undiscounted rate ($45) to the hours actually used.

If it is expected that the student will be coming for tutoring for more than two hours a week (see High Useage Fee, below) the prepayment check must still be based on eight hours at $40 per hour ($320). Then each week appropriate amounts will be credited at the appropriate rate(s) based on the actual number of tutoring hours used.

High Useage Fee

$30 per hour for tutoring time beyond two (2) hours in any week. The first two hours each week will be charged at the Basic or Discounted rate and the third and subsequent hours will be charged at the High Useage rate. Tutoring time for multiple students in the same immediate family can be combined.

All fees are payable by personal check or cash.

Cancellation Policy

Tutoring sessions may be cancelled without incurring the cost of the cancelled session provided that Donchin Tutoring is notified of the session to be missed at least 24 hours prior to its scheduled date and time.

If a scheduled tutoring session is missed without notice given as described above, the student and/or parents are responsible for the full amount of the fee due for the missed session, unless the missed session is made up during regular tutoring hours of the same week.

* The above fee schedule applies to in-person tutoring at the Donchin Tutoring facility. Fees for Skype tutoring will be published separately.
